Gite à la campagne avec étang privé

Experience French life in this pretty traditional gite situated on a working farm in the unspoilt countryside of the Deux Sevres region of France (79).

This one bedroom gite sleeps up to six people catering for all your vacation requirements.  The gite comprises of an open-plan living / dining area with stone walls and tiled floors (with a bed settee sleeping 2 and TV - TNT), mezzanine level  (sleeping 2).  Double bedroom, and modern bathroom with walk-in shower.  A fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker and separate hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave.

Internet access is available.

Outside is a fully equipped sun-terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs (with sun parasol) and BBQ, all overlooking uninterrupted views of the French countryside.

The farm rears sheep and grows a selection of cereals.  Those uninterrupted views from the sun terrace will over the year show fields of bright yellow sunflowers,  fields of purple flax, wheat and barley, subject of course to time of year and crop rotation.

The tranquille village of Biard is centrally located to many visitor attractions, whether it is the chateaux of the Loire valley, Puy Du Fou, or France’s number one attraction Futuroscope.  It is also within a 10 mile radius of the medieval towns of Parthenay, Thouars, and Bressuire.  All three have old towns, weekly traditional markets, wine caves, restaurants, and supermarkets.
